Drink lots of liquid

Please keep the kids hydrated as it's getting very hot.  As it's getting hotter and the kids are not used to it, please make sure to take lots of breaks during practice and watch kids for signs of illness and dehydration.

Dehydration is the excessive loss of fluids from the body or through sweating, urination, diarrhea or vomiting. The signs and symptoms can range from minor to severe and may cause:

  • Dry, sticky mouth
  • Headache
  • Weakness
  • Dizziness
  • Decreased performance
  • Muscle cramps
  • Irritability
  • Extreme fatigue
