We hope that you all had a wonderful fall season and we want to personally thank each and every one of you for stepping up this fall to coach a team. We know that it takes time and energy away from your own family as you lead this group of kids for the season. We appreciate you guiding the kids as they learn more about the game and to love it more than the day the season started. That truly is the reason that I have coached season after season to watch the kids learn and grow both on and off the field. To have them grow as a player with the knowledge of the sport and to gain the friendships from the beginning of the season to the very last day. For the kids to be sad the season is over is a success that you have done something right and they are eager to come back again next season. As the kids find you at the fields and tell you what they have been working on with the sport or even with school or family is a feeling like no other.

If you are interested in head coaching in the spring please reach out to your commissioner or board member. We will again need all hands on deck, because of this amazing fall we only expect for next season to be even bigger than the last. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to someone we want to be here to help you along the way. We hope that everyone has a wonderful break the spring will be here before you know it.

Reminder that in the spring (8U - Coach Pitch and older) we host Player Evaluations to assist us with balancing the teams to the best of our ability. We also use the priority 4 system to balance teams. This means that every head coach will protect their player along with 3 others to assist them for the season with coaching. If you have any questions please refer to our rules online at MOYSC.ORG or reach out to your commissioner or board member we want to help each of you with that process and to better understand what the priority 4 system means and how player evaluations affect the draft. Again, please reach out if you have any questions we are here to help.

Thanks again,
