The haunted hayride fundraiser happens the Saturday on or before October 31st each fall. All proceeds raised go toward the Manchaca Optimist Youth Sports Complex (MOYSC) operations for youth baseball and softball, fields, upkeep, maintenance, etc.
MOYSC is a not-for-profit home for kids, ages 3-14, to play recreational competitive baseball & softball.
Each and every team should be receiving raffle tickets this week. This is our one and only fundraiser for the fall season. Each player will receive 5 raffle tickets to sell for $10 each (a total of $50). The raffle tickets include a complimentary Haunted Hayride ticket in addition to a chance to win one of three prizes. For every 5 tickets each player sells they will receive an entry for $200 cash. Top player sales will receive $100 cash. Top team sales will receive a party by the complex. We ask that ticket be turned in as a team the week of Oct 20th please communicate with your team parent on specific date.
This year we will have the fall festival hosted by Manchaca Optimist. They are coordinating with vendors to provide games. Tickets for the games can be purchased Saturday night during the fall festival. Some vendors will also have products for sale or information about their organization. If you are looking for an opportunity to advertise your business or some sales before the end of the year please consider becoming one of the vendors for the night.
Haunted Hayride can increase in scare factor as the night goes on. If you would like a less scary ride please arrive early to be on one of the first few hayrides. This event has been a community favorite for many years.
Concessions will be open and ready to feed you for the night. We look forward to a fun night for everyone.
We are 100% Volunteer organization and therefore rely on this fundraiser to continue to grow and improve the complex each and every season. Please try to sell your 5 tickets and have a chance to win $200 cash. Drawing will be held during the Fall Festival and Haunted Hayride, you do not need to be present to win.
